Rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
At Kokila Electricals, quality control is embedded in every phase of transformer engineering. Our modern, fully equipped testing laboratory guarantees that every transformer—from small distribution units to heavy-duty power and furnace transformers up to 50 MVA class—meets or exceeds international performance standards including IEC 60076, IS 2026, ANSI/IEEE C57, and specific utility requirements.
Prior to dispatch, 100% of our manufactured transformers undergo extensive Routine Testing overseen by senior high-voltage electrical engineers. We provide comprehensive, calibrated Factory Test Reports (FTR) with full technical traceability for overseas procurement engineers and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies.

Tested Up to 50 MVA Capacity Class
Our infrastructure is capable of handling high MVA ratings and multi-tap voltage ratios for extreme industrial duties such as Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) and Substation Power Distribution. Every test instrument undergoes periodic calibration by accredited national calibration laboratories to maintain absolute measurement precision.
International Testing Standard Compliance
To give international EPC contractors and industrial buyers complete confidence, our quality verification processes align strictly with major international engineering protocols:
| Test Parameter | Standard Reference | Testing Purpose & Quality Guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| Dielectric Insulation | IEC 60076-3 / IS 2026 (Part 3) | Ensures complete insulation strength against switching surges and transient overvoltages. |
| Losses & Efficiency | IEC 60076-1 / IEEE C57.12.00 | Guarantees low no-load and load loss levels to minimize total cost of ownership (TCO). |
| Thermal Endurance | IEC 60076-2 / IS 2026 (Part 2) | Confirms oil and winding temperature rise remain within rated thermal class under continuous full load. |
| Short-Circuit Strength | IEC 60076-5 | Verifies mechanical integrity against electromagnetic forces during external short-circuit events. |
Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Welcome
We routinely host international inspection agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV, Intertek, and Lloyd's Register at our plant in Vijapur, Gujarat. Buyers are welcome to appoint independent inspectors to witness routine or type testing before export packaging.
